Mod uses

I have a good bit of mods, but don't use CC at all. And even with the mods it's I got to have it. Nothing to do with my game, mostly my 11 year old computer I'm working with here. I don't want to slow my game down any further, so until I get a new PC I just stick with need to have mods. As for CC, I get overwhelmed as it is shopping in the catalog, I don't need it any larger or confusing for me.

I also wanted to add that approximately 30% of my cc is actually out of date, I noticed it when I had MCCC in my game for a short time and I constantly got last exception notifications. Nothing causes issues in my game though, and I'm just too lazy to sort them out.

I have a few mods (MC Command, Pregnancy Mega Mod, UI Extensions, career clothing unlock, Playable Pets and Remove Happy Buff From Decor), with a list to try at some point. Been using mods since Sims 3 and while it can be a pain to get them updated, I find they enhance my game where I need it most.

I don’t use CC though. Have resisted going down that rabbit hole ;)

Just a tip if you ever decide to go thru your folder... of course, this really only works when you have issues that you can reproduce or are very apparent.. but the fastest way to find what's causing the problems is this. Take you folder, and remove 50% of the files. Run the game... see if it's still giving the problems. Then take the remaining files and split them again. 50/50... run the game... rinse and repeat. It's the fastest way, usually, to find whats the cause. So if you have 1000 files.... right off the bat you can eliminate 50% of them. Then 50% again, and again.... etc.

I just started a new game with two young adult sims who will eventually marry and raise a family. The sims are based on real life people. I also created their parents and siblings and then installed MCCC in order to create the relationships. I'll be removing the mod today. The only other mod I consistently use is the UI cheats extension. Wouldn't want to play without that.

Lots of mods and CC in my Sims 4 game, because it's quite boring without. Then again, I tend to mod all of my games to suit my playing style, not just the Sims.

I have MC Command Center, Playable Pets and then some CAS mods :'D

I believe I have a total of four mods and a scant amount of cc items. MCCC; Road to Fame; Neis' Career and the expansion. The cc is very recent, some medieval furniture and a couple of fireplaces that work like fireplaces, but give the appearance of a working cookhouse fireplace.

I was going to vote "A lot" but every time I say that it turns out I have way more than I thought so I'll go with the last option.

I Have to have certain mods for Cas and gameplay, like MCCC, Stand still in CAS, selectable pets. Others I rotatae out depending on how I feel. Like do I want to play with a lifestate, a career ect.
