Mod uses

No mods, no cc. Probably never will, and certainly not until the game's done being updated.

I tend to switch here and there I'll go vanilla most of the time.

I'm used to playing with mods from TS3 and I also got this habit when I got TS4. My most essential mod is UI Cheats Extension, the others are either cc hairs, overrides or custom traits and careers.

I'm too lazy to keep my mods updated so I try to only use a few. When I install a mod it has to make me feel like.. "Wow, I NEED that!" instead of "That would be nice."

Lots of mods. Sims 4 is just so....boring without Mods. I need story progression like in Sims 3, not just watching the town grow old and die without my constant supervision. I stopped playing Sims 4 years ago and have been playing religiously since I found the UI Cheats Extension and the MC Command Center. Those are just the ESSENTIAL mods.

I just don't download much custom content. I am not a fan of the custom clothes and hair people will make. I appreciate the effort but when 90% of the hair and clothes look like they belong in a different universe compared to the rest of the game I say no. Art style clashes are my biggest pet peeve.

I have 300+ downloads in my mod section of my downloads folder for TS2 and maybe one or two dozen in the one for TS4, so I'd say I'm at a reasonable amount for this game lol (although, in my defense, TS2 has been around for a long time now).

I think you're talking about alpha hair and clothes here? The one that looks ultra-realistic? Yeah, I agree it really does look bad, but there's a good amount of maxis match cc out there which doesn't even look like it's cc. I also only use that.

If we're making a distinction between mods and CC, I only have a few "mods". Those are MCCC, Have Some Personality Please!, and the one that increases the number of columns in CAS.

I only chose "a lot" cause the question was mods. Nothing was mentioned about cc, otherwise I go with shaming the library.

Yeah chose mods because With the in game community I figured every would use CC.
