Mods aren't broken, but wont work in game

Okay so I've had my fair share of issues with the sims with the last few updates (who hasn't) 

so today i decided to see if my mods were really the problem or not, spoiler they're not.  I ran two different mod checkers and both said none of my mods were broken orrr outdated.

With my mods enabled I'm able to open the game and do whatever i want in CAS, but once i try to open live or build mode it starts to load, then goes back to the world selection page. I can only access live or build mode if i have mods disabled. 

Anyone know how to fix this??? ik i could play without mods but honestly i refuse to since none of them are broken so there's basically no reason that i shouldn't be able to play with them.

    Sometimes mod's, especially if you have many of them, conflicts with each other, even if all of them are up to date. Sounds like that may be your issue. If I were you I would start with the 50/50 method and go from there to see which mods that don't play nice with each other.

    I had this problem had to go through 8,000 files found main issues sacrificial mod outdated, a deep indigo broken, kawaii stacie mods broken, sims with shan broken, and simmiller broken. got it fixed now can't interact with food. still working on that one but hopefully that helps narrow down your issue.
