After the new update it messed with my aintivirurs software and I had to go in and put TS4 as an expection which I thought fixed my game, all my mods are gone, it doesn't say theyve been removed theyre just all gone for some reason even though my mods are turned on.

ImMendota Windows antivirus can also block the user folder occasionally. It's not only separate programs. In this case, we don't know yet if that's the issue anyway.

The best advice I can give you is to get rid of the so called anti virus. You don't need it, Windows own protection is all you need and these anti virus programs cause more problems than they solve. Check the website of the virus program and find out exactly what you need to do to remove it. Most of them won't uninstall with the standard Windows uninstall procedure.
