my cc woek nut

When I go into my game, I'm able to use my CC, but none of my mods work. I've already cleared my cache as well as deleted and re-downloaded my mods, but mod mods still don't work.

  • @_beloveddangel_ I think you probably need to work through your Mods folder to find things that have been reported broken -- that don't have working updates.

    Here's what I'd suggest:

    1. Move your Mods folder to your desktop, copy your Saves folder there too so you have a safe copy, delete the file called localthumbcache, and start the game so it makes a new Mods folder.
    2. Move the CC back and make sure it works.
    3. For each mod left in the desktop folder, check if it's reported broken or updated at Broken/Updated Mods . If it's broken, leave it there to remind you to look later for an update. If it's updated, delete the old copy and download the new one. Double check installation instructions. Open the game to make sure it all works, then delete localthumbcache.
    4. If a mod isn't on the list, check the creator's site to see if it's been updated December 5 or later. If it has been, use that.  Open the game to make sure it all works. Open the game to make sure it all works.
    5. Now all you have left is a set of definitely broken mods and a set of maybes. You can test those maybes, but do that one by one or in small batches. Open the game each time to see if you've found a broken mod.
