My kids won't go to school

Is it the Go To School Mod? Or maybe one of these:

If not you may need to do the 50/50 method to find your problem:
Put half of your mods/cc into the mods folder then start the game and see if the issue is still there. If the issue is not there, then you know that those items work okay with the game. Then you can test the other half of your cc/mods.
If the issue is still there with the first half, you will need to keep testing them to see what is causing the problem. Then you will need to test the second half of your cc/mods too. (Thanks @rosemow for writing this out!)

Try going to the website links that Banana_45 has helpfully posted and click on the files category, on the download page. Then click on the little magnifying glass beside the download files, and it will then show you the names of the files. You can then search for those files.

It was a mod where the higher grade your child had, the less they had to go to school. An A sim for example would only be in school for 1-2 days a week whereas a child with a lower grade would be there all week as usual.

It is good that you have found the cause of what was occurring in your game :)
I am not sure which school mod have the feature that you have described.

I don't know why my last two links lead to Sims 2 CC, that's not what I copied. Weird. So, I am sorry about that. If you use the links and click on the Sims 4 logo it should show all the school or homework Mods for Sims 4, maybe you will see the mod you are looking for there.
