My mods folder is empty and curse forge doesn't sync.

I went to play my hundred baby occult and usually do  a quick update on Curse Forge and all of my mods had the triangle asking me to reinstall because they may be corrupt. When I checked my mods folder, only a toddler hair was in it. Everything is gone, including mods installed outside of CF. I have all expansions but the Royalty pack and some kits. I have been playing Sims with these mods for a while and they are always updated. I know how to  install mods and have coding experience. I even have a YT channel (MamaFig) with Sims videos. What is happening? 

Processor AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics (4.00 GHz)

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (28.8 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    MamaFig_​ Computer system power is not an issue here, but other things about your system can be. Do you have any syncing programs like OneDrive? If so, updating the game might have triggered OneDrive to move your Mods folder online, after which the game would make a fresh one and the CF app would show you the mods to redownload because you don't currently have them. Check your Drive storage online.

    OneDrive and similar programs can also move your stuff on your computer to where the game can't see it anymore, and the game will make a new Mods folder in the right location. A search of your computer for a filename that you expect to be in your Mods folder will find if that's the case.

    Also, do you use any mod managers other than Curseforge? (Curseforge does not move files, thankfully.)
