@banana_munchkin Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, launch the game to create a new folder, enable mods and custom content in the game options, and quit. Does this create a new Mods folder with a new resource.cfg inside? If so, you can move a few of your mods to the new folder and test. You can also move your saves and anything else you want to keep to the new folder, but leave that until you've sorted out your mods and custom content.
