My pet had puppies and they just disappeared.

My pet had a puppy 23 hours ago in game and her puppies icons are gone from the household bar. They didn't get taken away, or ran away they just disappeared, all the family members have no relationship with the puppies too as if they never existed but the notifications prove I did have the puppies. The notifications also prove they didn't run or get taken away. How do I retrieve them. Some background information: I don't know at what point they disappeared and I am using mccc, I have used mccc to make the household be able to fit 10 people and being already a house of 8 sims and the two pupppies may have glitched but this is highly unlikely, but if it were to glitch it would make sense for them to be gone but as soon as I realized they were gone I reset my game and they are gone gone, how do I get them back or at least find out how to not do this again. And if some way I can get tombstones from sims team for killing my dogs, because putting fake ones from build mode feels wrong since I did nothing wrong. If anyone needs photo proof of the notifications I can attach it, im not going to play on that family for now because games broke and I don't want to mess with save files to get them back, i'm not very well educated on that matter also, im going to try calling sims team but if they can't help I'd appreciate some help here.
