Returning to worlds map

I had this happen, and the mods were the issue for me. Even so, I was only able to get my game to load past the worlds screen but I can't get 5 minutes into gameplay without the game crashing. 

same here.  can't get past the worlds screen after selecting a family to play. i select the family and the game takes me right back to the worlds screen.  then it crashes and the screen goes white.🤬

I am having the same issue; I checked my mods are updated. but even without mods it won't let me go past the worlds screen after selecting a family to play.

Hello, i followed all instructions and even deleted and updated all of my script mods. The game now loads into my sims house but the game crashes after 3 seconds. I noticed it only doesn’t work when i have script mods enabled but they have all been updated so im not sure why they dont work

StuckonAnna​  A mod could be updated but still not compatible with the game if the modder didn't catch all the issues.  So please test all your mods, either in batches or using the 50/50 method:
