my sim can't do anything with baby she always put the baby in the crib

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.397.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Vampires, Toddler stuff, tiny living, Strangerville, Spooky stuff, Spa Day, Snow escape, seasons. Parenthood, Paranormal stuff, Outdoor retreat, Movie hangout, laundry day, Kids room stuff, Jungle Adeventure, Island living, high school years, growing together, get to work, get together, get famous, eco lifestyle, dream home decorator, discover university. dine out, desert luxe kit, cottage living, city living, cats and dogs, bowling night stuff, backyards stuff, werewolves, wedding stories, vintage glamour.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try doing anything other than putting the kid in the crib
What happens when the bug occurs? the interaction cuts out and she wants to put the baby in the crib, you can't feed, cuddle, or any interaction with the baby because she wants to put the baby in the bed.
What do you expect to see? She should be able to do everything with her baby.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

  • @mprgansam Do you have Mods/CC? I you do, please test without saving to see if the issue is gone if you remove the following cache file and the Mods folder as directed in the spoiler tag:

    Exit the game. Move the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can then test without saving – or in a new vanilla game save – in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue. Then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue

    I know it's not ideal, but you could try turning off autonomy: 

    Load your game, then enter a game save. From the 'World Select' or Manage Worlds/World Menu View, select the three dots (Options Menu) > Game Options > Gameplay and adjust the "Autonomy' settings. You can try just turning it off, or you can try turning it off for your 'selected sim'.
