My sim is frozen

Question

It's the middle of october and this problem happened back in september i think. whenever i want my sim to take shower or eat something, they wouldn't move. the action comes up in their queue for a second but then disappears. the only thing my sim can do is go on their phone or change outfits, etc. but i can manage worlds, build, and go into CAS. i've googled how to unfreeze my sims like using a cheat, but nothing worked. i'm also on a mac if that's important. it really ruined by experience, especially since i was starting the 100 baby challenge. please help!

@tissueboxes  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? If so, does it work if you remove them  ?

@crinrict&nbsp;yes, i am using cc and mods but i removed them and it still didn't work.

@crinrict&nbsp;i just deleted my cache files and it didn't work. but i tried turning off my mods and cc again, and my sims can only move without cc and mods.
