My Sims Family is Stuck **PLEASE HELP**

Help pls! My sims family is not responding to any commands..When I click on an object to use, my sim refuses to use the object, essentially they are stuck. I've tried to reset my sim using the reset ...

    @KATALITE27 Do you use custom created content in your game (called cc)? Sounds like you may have some outdated cc or a cc conflict. Remove the Mods folder and delete the localthumbcache.package file. Restart the game and see if that didn't fix it?

Oh yes lol, I'm a Mod addict..I love how CC's enhance game play so much. I will try this and report back if it works! Thanks so much for your reply!
