Yes, mine too. My fireplaces must be on auto, since it seems they're usually already lit, but the Sims are regularly going to warm themselves.
I cannot pinpoint exactly when this started, but yes it was recently. So it may have been with the last patch, I couldn't say for sure. It's a touch annoying, because every time I'm about to send them to do something, they start walking off to the next room where the fire place is before I've had the chance to click on them, and I'm forever shouting "get back here!!!" at them, lol.
@ I would also add that I don't have Seasons either.
- @PriestessBizarre It's been happening in my game for quite a long time. RL months. I have seasons but have weather switched off, as the dog was terrified of thunderstorms. I don't know why my sims would need all the fireplaces lit and heating on as they are ice-roof! lol. Sorry I can't figure out what they cause of this is, but it's been there for quite some time.
