needs bar not changing color + sims dying without notification

i've done the mod testing, my mods are fine it's just one save file that does this, but i need it fixed bc it's the file i've been playing for months. the needs bar haven't been changing colors for a while not but yesterday i noticed how my sim randomly vanished out of my household and when i went over & looked it said he passed away from hunger. i was fine with it but just now my second sim also randomly vanished & also died from hunger. yet both of them never showed a notification when they died nor did grim reaper show up. can anyone help me? also i have no idea how to attach my save file. it says the file type isn't supported

    @CILYTSIMS4    Hi!  That sounds awful!  This does sound like a problem that could be caused by mods.  I saw you mentioned testing them but just to be sure I wonder if you tested the game without any mods at all.  Have you moved your mods folder to the desktop or some other location?  Did you also delete the localthumbcache.package file located in the Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 folder before opening the game for testing? If not, please do so and let us know if there are any issues without any mods at all.  Note that when you move the mods folder out, a new one will be generated when you launch the game.

    If you want to share your save file, then you will need to save it to a file sharing platform like Google Drive and then share the link to the file on whatever platform you choose.
