New scenario deleted all my households, The Sims 4
I was just playing the new "new scenario" mode, I played "to much toddlers" I create a new household and when choosing worlds for my new household, there was no previous household I created before, but I just thought it was supposed to be like that and I didn't think about it, after finishing "too much toddlers" I wanted to go back to my household, which I played yesterday, but all my previous households were deleted, I do not know how this happend. I need help please. I put so much effort and several hours of playing these household a this game, I want to have them back please. ☹️
@Booruvka It's strange then that the older households wouldn't show up, since the older two slots are from before today. Anyway, I think it'll be easiest if you examine one save file at a time. First, copy the saves folder in your screenshot to another location, preferably on an external drive or USB stick if you have one. You can also upload it to a filesharing site (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) if you want; the point is to make a backup copy.
Next, create a folder on your desktop (or wherever you want) and label it Backup Saves. Move all the saves in your screenshot to the Backup Saves folder. Now move just one file, the one labeled Slot_00000003.save , back to the saves folder. Load the game to the Main Menu, click Load Game, and let me know what you see. If there are multiple saves listed, stop here and let me know.
If there's only one save listed, try loading it and see what you get. If you don't see anything, or the Load Game button isn't there, quit, move that save file back to the Backup Saves folder, and move over Slot_00000003.save.ver0 instead. Before loading the game, delete the ver0 extension so that the file ends in .save with nothing after it. If you still don't see a save you can load, repeat with the other files that have a 3 in them: these are the newest saves from before today.
When you want to move a save back to the Backup Saves folder, you'll first need to rename it so it doesn't share a name with a save already there. If it's easier, you can change the number within the save name, i.e. 3 becomes 4 for the first file, 5 for the second, etc.
