Hi @Kelsss28
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Thanks for the advice! I’ve had mods for years but never ran into anything like this and I’m not very tech savvy when it comes to issues like this. Do I literally just click the folder to rename it? Or does more go into than that?
- crinrict3 years agoHero+@Kelsss28 Just give it a new name. That's all there's to it. It won't be recognized by the game anymore if you rename it and the game creates a new fresh folder when you start it so you can test if it works on that.
Once you have verified if it's a mod/cc issue or not, you can start putting your stuff back but I'll help you with that once you've tested on a new save.- 3 years ago
Sounds good! It’s been a busy week so I probably won’t be able to get to it until this weekend. I’ll update you once I change the name

I had that same problem with the bug issue, and tried your suggestion. It worked for me
- crinrict3 years agoHero+@ladynienna21 Do you need help putting your stuff back to see what's causing the issue ? I'm assuming it was a mod/cc ?
