Please start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC. CAS UI-affecting mods often are broken by game updates and need to be removed until updated or confirmed compatible. Disabling in settings doesn't remove the full effect of all mods. You need to remove/rename the folder and delete localthumbcache.
I took the mods folder out of the sims4 and start the game to test it and it's still not saving when I enter the CAS it's show up in grey. I don't think the mods and cc is the reason do you think there is another problem I should fix?
