Not allowing gameplay, only editing

I've tried repairing my game, restarting it and such but every time I log into the game it doesn't allow me to play any of the Sims in gameplay mode. It's kind of still lets me edit lots but glitches back to the world screen after clicking on my sim to play. Any ideas on the issue or how to resolve it? I've tried multiple times to fix the issue but so far haven't figured it out. I have Mods in my game, and I thought I fixed or replaced any old mods.
