Thanks. At this point, it's probably worth waiting to see what Maxis does. Some creators have let us know that they've contacted Maxis about the chairs.
It's too late for my laptop (I didn't even install the game until after the patch dropped), but I'm thinking it's wise to hold off on updating my main game on the desktop until this is resolved. So many CC-filled lots are basically useless otherwise.
