Hi everyone. I know this problem has been asked about a few times. I also know others have the same problem after the new update that happened on February 3, 2026.
My game freezes at about the same time about every other night. I've tried waiting for about 5 minutes sometimes and then it's like it started again. I just think it's annoying to be afraid that it happens about every other day in the game. Yes, I play with mods, but after reading another thread here, I tried taking out my entire mods folder and putting it on my desktop on my computer. Then I started the game again and it worked. However, I've already spent many hours yesterday and just quietly took all my mods and cc out of my mods folder and just quietly added them back to see if it caused any problems. I think it's the MCCC Command that's giving my game problems, which I could also read about in another thread here. I also think the UI Cheats Extension mod is giving me problems.
However, I just want to know if there is nothing else to do but wait until Ea itself comes up with a new update or solution that solves the problem. Or is there anything else that can be done. Because I have downloaded the latest version of the MCCC Command Center mod and also the latest version of the UI Cheats Extension. I can survive and play without them and have also tried but sometimes the game freezes anyway. My save right now is also a big one as I play on 4th generation in my family, which also results in there being many Sims in my world. Is that maybe what could be the problem or do you think it is simply mods. I just love that family so much so I am so sorry that I can't play on it.
