Pose Player Revelation!

Same, I only just learnt how to use it recently and am now addicted. So far I think these poses are my favourites. I also put a tripod and camera in front so another sim could get the photos without them moving.

All the time! My absolute favourite poses are by Simcophogi, Simmerberlin, Clumsyalienn, Rebekhanasims... Madebycoffee has amazing poses on any occasion for any ages between any ages (hugs, kisses, sickness, etc) - very valuable for gameplay. Moc's and Simprovart's poses are a little tricky to find, but they feel very real and make amazing screenshots. A-Luckyday - do I even have to say something here? The absolute cutest toddler poses ever to be created... Ahhh, there's too many to name them all!

I refuse to play with CC, but I might get weak at poses :'( .
I love to look at photos with poses. There are some that look very "posed" but there are also natural ones - which I prefer.
Question: Do you have to update poses after a patch / update, like CC or Mods?

@Busufu poses - no, but you might have to update the teleport any sim mod once in a while :)

This mod has been an absolute godsend and life saver for my story! I am the same as @Busufu - I don't like playing with CC too but I also don't play with custom poses either and I just use the in game animations instead. It takes an age, can take some really lucky timing and be a bit of a mare in general but I just prefer the cartoony expressions of the OG sim animations (since my story is actually meant to be a cartoon). I feel CC ones do look too staged for my taste :) plus with some clever angling and camera trickery you can get a pretty decent shot.

But custom poses would certainly make me life easier - I'm definitely tempted by some of the sofa group shots... I've seen some really great ones

Congrats on finding out about pose player. I use it as it is great for us story telling simmers who need detailed and realistic expressions and poses for the moments we want to show off :)

YES. I was going to list my all time favourite pose makers and then realised Koteyka has them all listed lol. I can only add Joanne Bernice and Natalie Auditore at this point. Natalie mostly focuses on cc, but the poses she make are dramatic, perfect for the tone of my story.

Actually my story got so dramatic that I make my own poses now. So yes!! Pose player, teleport and Tmex are my must haves. I love posing my sims in out of bounds areas and make simworld just that larger
