Just a quick topic to say I did not know I needed this until I started, and now I am constantly on the hunt for new poses and clothing cc to bring my legacy posts to life. This is amazing. WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS SOONER?!
Do you use Pose Player? What are your favourite poses? :)
YES. I was going to list my all time favourite pose makers and then realised Koteyka has them all listed lol. I can only add Joanne Bernice and Natalie Auditore at this point. Natalie mostly focuses on cc, but the poses she make are dramatic, perfect for the tone of my story.
Actually my story got so dramatic that I make my own poses now. So yes!! Pose player, teleport and Tmex are my must haves. I love posing my sims in out of bounds areas and make simworld just that larger
I'm new to pose player, too. Already having trouble navigating the collection of pose packs, as many of them are too vaguely named/branded, and some do pretty much the same things. I'm mostly wanting simple poses for photographing, so I guess I should take the time to clean up a bit :)
I make videos more than web stories, so I can't use many poses in videos, but I might blend in a few where it is natural to stand still. Poses or not - for movie makers also the "Move anyone here" is GOLD!
I do not put effort into editing my picture, but even so I enjoy using poses, especially if mixed with ingame animations. The casual intimacy of a family is simply missing in the game.

Definitely! Before the teleport commands were included in MCCC I used the teleporter statue a lot. The first time I was able to bring a whole crew to Sixam instead of a single sim was a small revelation.
I am a huge fan of pose player! It's definitely a game changer for me as I love to capture moments in my Sim's lives. My favorite poses are by SimmerBerlin & Atashi77. Here's a few of my favorites, which captures a Sim I created in CAS, Kamila Salas & all her children and family:

I resisted using the pose player for a long time because I assumed it was more complicated to use than it actually is. I don't typically use it for my general storytelling pictures, but I do use it for big family shots at parties and weddings. Most of the pictures on my Sims' walls are posed shots. There's no way I'd be able to get group shots like this without it:
I have used it for storytelling purposes on rare occasions where I needed some variety from in-game animations. For example, I had one post where one of my teenage Sims' father passed away, and I wanted to show the rest of her family comforting her. Rather than have six shots in a row of Sims hugging, I turned to the pose player for some help:
They're just like any other CC. Most are free, some people only release them on Patreon or the like. There's a good community on Tumblr for them with a pretty extensive masterlist, you can have a browse through there and see what you want.
