Re: Custom Sims 4 Loading Screen won't change even after removing.

Hi @b00syslayb00sy. Make sure to delete cache files and folders when you delete the loading screen (everything that you see with "cache" as part of its name when you're in Electronic Arts > The Sms 4), and check for duplicates of that file by searching for the file name in Mods.

    hey! tysm for the help but i’m a beginner and was wondering what is a cache file?

    @b00syslayb00sy A cache file is a place the game uses to keep a memory of some things in the game so that it doesn't have to "look them up", as it were, every time you load the game. This can include things like Sim avatars in live mode and Household Management, and it can also include info about mods you have. "Cache" means "place to hide things". Deleting cache doesn't change your save; it does clean out things that might be glitchy. Sometimes getting the game to start compiling it's short-term memory fresh is a good thing.
