Okay so,
When I open my game and try to close the pop up ad that appears it just doesnt close instead the cursor loads (yk it does the colour wheel thing) till I inevitably force quit the game.
I have alot of custom content so maybe its that? But it‘s never done that before
I‘m on Mac and have no storage space issues or anything like that ☹️

Have you tried your game without the Mods to see if that is the issue? Move out the Mods folder from the Sims 4 folder and trash the localthumbcache.package file. Okay so, I checked and it works without mods so I assume I should just test out what mod is causing this right?
Ps.: pressing ESC doesn't have.a different effect 🙂
