Re: No Tabs in Library

@catwitch93 Do you have Mods &/or CC in your game? If so, please try removing them to see if the tabs show correctly as follows:

Spoiler
Try moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can then test without saving – or in a new vanilla game save – in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue. Then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.

  • Dear @SheriGR,

Thank you so much, I did everything as follows:
    1) I've moved the Mods folder from "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to the desktop; is it right that now there is no Mods folder inside the Sims Folder?

    2) I've deleted the localthumbcache.package file in the “The Sims 4” folder.

I also uninstalled and re-installed the game.

Do you have other suggestions? The library still does not show any tabs for shared contect etc.
    Thank you!

@catwitch93 Can you please try the following and see if this addresses your issue?

    • Exit your game and Origin (EA app, etc.).
    • Move your ‘The Sims 4’ folder ( Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 ) to your desktop. (Save this “The Sims 4” folder for reference.)
    • Then start the game, and a new ‘The Sims 4’ folder will be created by the game.
    • Check if the tabs are back in your game.
    • Exit your game and Origin (EA app, etc.).
    • Re-add a copy of the ‘options.ini’, ‘screenshots’ folder, ‘saves’ folder, and ‘tray’ folder from the “The Sims 4” folder on your desktop into your new “The Sims 4” folder ( Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 ). Replace the newly generated files/ folders with the old files/folders from the desktop “The Sims 4” folder.
    • Now see if your game will load properly and the tabs are still there.

@catwitch93 A friend just shared something with me about your post that could be just what you're looking for. Please go to your game's main menu and go to ...Options > Game Options > Other. Is the "Online Social Features Access" box checked? (The option on the top left.)

In my game, When that box is unchecked, I also only see library (not gallery) when I enter a game saveI only see my game library, not the gallery:

However, if I check that box in settings:

Then if I enter a game save I do see the other tabs, and the gallery:

Could this be the issue in your game? Please check to see if that "Online Social Features Access" box is checked in your game settings. Please let us know how it goes! Thank you for this information, @JonaO703  🙌
