@girlyfuneral OneDrive might be indirectly affecting your household loading by removing CC from your Mods folder. Some CC and mods when removed can cause these problems - food mods, for example, or any CC associated with a Sim's Milestone. Usually that will affect the lot, not the Sims themselves. But getting out of OneDrive and all the right CC back in the folder and seen might get you back a working lot and household. And you want to get out of OneDrive regardless.

@luthienrising thank you. so are you saying i should just completely remove onedrive? or do i move the cc back first before doing this? i've never had an issue like this before so am really unsure on what to do and i have no clue what my recent save would be named as in files, if you get what i mean?

@girlyfuneral Fix the OneDrive issue first. There are two options in that linked post: removing it completely or making it not see Sims 4. You can get support there on the process.

Meantime, you can also upload your most recent Last Exception file here.

For save files, the most recent one always ends in .save. After you save, the game makes a recoverable one ending .ver0. It keeps five of those, with .ver0 the most recent and .ver5 the oldest. You'll find these in the Saves folder. The info before the dot is for a specific game. If you don't have multiples games in Sims 4, you won't see different ones. If like me you have your regular game, and one you play now and then, and a test one etc., you'll have lots. You can recover earlier ones by changing the file name or, if they're in your main Saves folder not a backup one, from the Main Menu > Load.

@luthienrising here's my most recent last exception. Hopefully there's something in here that's causing the main issue, I just wanna play my sims. Thanks so much

@girlyfuneral Inventory errors could have a lot of different causes at the moment. I'm going to suggest that this is a good time to wait for the patch that was announced as coming soon. However, if you can upload the actual file, or if there's a non-MCCC exception file that's uploadable, I can look at that.

@luthienrising i have just tried a few attempts at sending over the files for you but unfortunately had no luck. what is the best thing you think i should do in this case?

@girlyfuneral You could screenshot a last exception file, if one is in Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. The paperclip under the typing box here is how to add a file.

@girlyfuneral Nothing there points specifically to a mod. Let's see if you can get in again after the next game update, which I expect to be soon, given that they actually posted about it at Sims Direct (which is not common!). When you test after that, test with the cookbook mod, not without.

@luthienrising that sounds great i'd be happy doing that. but can i just check i don't think i have the cookbook mod, but i know i've got such mods like the breakfast food replacement/overhaul by apricot rush, do you mean this?

hey @luthienrising i had attempted to access the household again yesterday, and unfortunately still had no luck. i got this last exception so thought i would send it over in case it mentions anything broken, i really hope we can fix this ☹️

@girlyfuneral the tunable_perf error in that can be one of many, many mods that were updated for 1.103 that need reupdating for 1.105. You'll find a lot of them under "Updated" and a few under "broken" in Broken/Updated Mods . The rest you need to find via a 50-50, focusing on script mods. That error, though, won't do anything but produce an LE; it won't affect gameplay.

@luthienrising thanks so much for this. i’ve updated all the mods i had on the list that you sent me.

i’m not sure what exact piece of cc had affected my household, but i’ve unfortunately still struggled with the infinite loading screen so i have came to the conclusion to move them out of that lot and replace it and i now have access to the household.

i had the working water bowls mod by mssimsam placed in there which i’m not sure whether that could be broken so i’m gonna have a look, i also had a cc bed which i’ve removed.
