I've never had unsafe CC. It's the ads and paywalls that are unsafe.
If you're looking for CC that won't bog down your graphics card, best steer clear of alpha cc that has high polycount. Maxis match is the way to go. There will still be a difference between 500mb and 21gb worth of cc though.
