Script mods glitch. Help.

I made a post about a month ago about glitches occurring with my CC after I reset the game to its original settings.

While I managed to fix that, I started to have problems with my script mods. I noticed that the teleport mod that I had wasn't working and it's because Script Mods wasn't checked on my game options. After I switched them on, I reset my game. When I went back to the current household, I noticed that my sims were frozen aside from their arms.

They all just stand there while their arms move from their sides to their shoulder repeatedly and they won't interact with anything or anyone.

I noticed that this only happens when the script mods option is turned on which is weird because I had had the option on before and it was working fine. It wasn't until I reset my game options that I started to exirpience glitches. I've tried removing and reinstalling all the CC, "fixing" the game on Origin and even getting the game back to the previous settings. It's been like this for over a month now, I don't know what to do anymore.

  • Sounds like one of your script mods is outdated and needs updating.

Since the mod is not recognized if you turn script mods off, you have no problem but you do, if you turn them on.

Check all your script mods if they are compatible with the newest patch.

Remove all your Mods/CC and try again. If it now works you can start putting your mods/CC back one by one until you find which one causes the problem. If you have many use the 50/50 approach where you add half back and test. If that breaks it you know that the problem is in that half so take out half of what you added and test.

Continue doing this until you find what causes it.
