Hi! This is a good idea - I'm trying to minimize cc and keep it Maxis matchy, but sometimes there are "gaps" that need filling.
The furniture from Movie Hangout Stuff clashed with most of what I had in game so I made recolours of the Cargeaux Counter (plus floors and walls) that match the colour palette used in Movie Hangout - I used the textures on the double doors as reference. It also works well with the Day of the Dead.
Here are some previews - I placed Movie Hangout Stuff items around so you can see it blends in:
