Sim doesn't go to school

Hey everyone I'm new here and just wanted ask for some help...

I have the problem that may Sim (teenager who lives alone) is not going to school. Not automatically and not when I click the button "go to school".

Also meanwhile I bought the Pack "go to Uni" but I kinda have the same problem there. When it was time for my sim to apply for a University, I couldn't do that either. Like I clicked on the button but it deleted the action.

I'm very thankful for anyone who has an idea on what to do :)

    If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

    Thank you so much I'll definitely try that out... probably a dump question but move the mods folder where?

    So I tried it out and cleaned/deleted a lot of my mods and now it's working again. Thank you so much for the Link it was very helpful!
