Sim Stopped Aging

I started a new save recently and I'm playing with one teen sim in Copperdale. I'm playing on normal lifespan with aging turned on and I've played two sim weeks, and one sim week ago I checked my sim's age and she had 14 days left before she aged up. I checked again just now after a sim week and she had 15 days left. I went to manage worlds and checked a different family's teen sim and he had 7 like he was supposed to, and the child sim in that family had aged into a teen. So I went back to my sim and after midnight it said she had 14 days left so she is aging again, but I don't know if this is a glitch that I can keep from happening again. Is this happening to anyone else? And is there a fix?

    I made the sim in create a sim. Also I know I said she started aging again but her age reset again.

    I don’t have any mods or cc. I used one cheat that I haven’t before, the one to progress through an aspiration, but that’s it.

    @AnneSims34 Could you try placing her in a brand new save game (for testing purposes) and see if she ages there ? This is just to narrow down if it's something about that particular Sim or a more general issue.

    Should I place the version of the sim that got saved to the gallery after I made her in a new save or the version that I've been playing with so far in a new save? Also I'm repairing my game to see if that helps.

    @AnneSims34 for testing and just to make sure you have the current situation, I'd reupload the sim to the library in their current state and place that one in a new save. (you can always check with the first version too, if that one ages, it'll sure give extra information to crinrict too! 🙂 )

    @AnneSims34

    1. Load your save game
    2. Take your Sim to CAS
    3. Save to the library
    4. Exit the save game
    5. Start a new save
    6. Enter CAS and load the Sim from your library
    7. Place it in house
    8. Play and see if they age.

    Hi, I did those steps and my sim is aging normally so far. I've played 3 sim days and used CAS, build/buy, and manage worlds and her age hasn't reset yet. Should I keep going to see if does after a sim week like it has been?

    @AnneSims34 Did it occur this fast on your other save or did you have to play longer ? If it already occurred after 3 days on your other save, it sounds like it's a problem with the save game.

    I think it's probably easiest if you go on playing with your other Sim and make a note on what date she should be aging. Once that day comes around, just manually age her up and then see if she's fixed for the next stage.

    There are certain hidden trait that prevent aging properly but if that was the case then the version in your new save would also not be aging.
