I'm having similar issues.
I also have a horse that says I can't do anything because it's being rideen, saddle is still on it but no one is riding it.
My sims get stuck when eating, they can't eat.
I figured it was mod related, I updated all of mine but will have to remove them again to figure out which on it is.
- @Decscaper Even if the saddle stays on, it should still work.
