Sims 4 crashing on Mac May 2023

This is the first I've experienced problems with the Sims 4. It has been crashing since the new infants update with long loading screens, freezing, and 30 min play time if that before it crashes. I've done everything I can think of to fix it without completely getting rid of all my mods.

I've repaired, uninstalled the sims 4, deleted the sims folder, deleted origin cache and localthumbcache, made sure vertical sync was on, custom script mods enabled, updated my mods. I've gotten rid of most if not all the broken and duplicated cc using Better Exceptions cc locater and Sims 4 Mod Manager.

If anyone can provide a solution so I can enjoy my game again would be greatly appreciated. I have attached my recent crash report and last exception report for the Sims 4.

Hi @cgtalrr4kdrn Yes, outdated CAS and build items can crash your game. Many items in build mode in particular are interactable and can become outdated. Unfortunately, there's a lot of outdated CC out there on the internet. I'd suggest starting by removing things you've added recently. If that doesn't help, try a 50-50 of your Mods folder. Make sure to delete the localthumbcache file when you change the content of your Mods folder.
