Whenever I have my mods enabled my Sims 4 game will not start up. I will click to play it and it will show up in Origin and then just exit out and the game won't load up. I was playing the game just fine for a month on my new laptop, and I started having this issue about 2 months ago. The game is personally unplayable without mods for me. I made sure all of my cc is from reputable creators that I have used for years, and none of my game files are corrupted. What do I do?
@Emmaj2232 Just because your mods and custom content are from "reputable creators" doesn't mean that they're flawless, and even more so, a mod that works perfectly with one patch level can be incompatible after the next update. So you'll need to test your mods and see which ones are currently broken; custom content is less likely to become outdated, but test that as well.
It may be faster to just download new versions of your mods at least. The download pages should say the mods are compatible with the current patch level (1.86.166). Once you've updated everything you can, test those mods, then test the others and see where you are.
