Sims 4 not working with mods

Hi!

I have installed a lot of mods for my sims that I plan to use. However, whenever I have too many of them, Sims 4 will stop responding right before the plumbo loading screen. I really want to play, but at the same time I don't want to delete all of them. Downloading them took a lot of time, and I want to use them. Does anyone have any tips? Are there player with a lot of mods out there just like me? How many can you have before it's too much for the game, and it stops responding? Thanks for any replies!
  • It could be that one or more of your mods doesn't work. Back in the day, we'd go by the rule of halves when trying to find a bad mod. Put in half your mods. If the game works, exit, take those out, and put in half of what's left, etc. If the game doesn't work, take out half. Keep doing that until you find the one(s) that are causing you problems.
  • MsPhy, your tip worked! Turned out it one of my mods were the cause. Thank you so much for the help! :)
  • Please see this link some mods don't work with the new patches you would have to pull them and see if the mod creator updated the mods your using
