Today I got a possible cause that i've not seen before, I have went through and checked mods since I have A LOT. I removed a good chunk, can play fine for a bit but the next time I load up my game, I get a critical exception again.

I keep getting this error as well for the last few days since I updated, after 50/50 everyday, I found these files causing mine and removed and fixed them:
- waronkcc (I'm not sure which one exactly so I removed all for now)
- [lilis-palace]_FOLKLORE-Door_SkanzenTallDoor-Closed (fixed by redownloading)
- good cc dl 3.25 merge (fixed by unmerging (weird?))
- basemental
- 脚本（必放文件）.ts4script
This error seems to be a mod conflicting one another. On day 3, s-mkatu files were giving me this crash and error so I removed them and went to bed. Next day, I opened the game, it gave me this error again. I decided to put s-mkatu files again and it went through this time. The LE is confusing and this last script removal got me in game and I'm writing this and hope tomorrow, I won't have to deal with this.
ojousamanee Definitely weird on the unmerging fixing that one. I'd be very cautious about using those CC downloads, though, ESPECIALLY merged files. You don't know what's in there. You don't know if you'll have old broken CC, or duplicates of stuff you already have, broken versions of stuff you already have. Stick to creators' own sources.
Yes, fortunately despite it being 400 packages, I did 50/50 on each one and they were fine... even after removing completely... I managed to play alright with and without.
Now after posting the last reply, I went to bed, woke up, did errands and decided to play again, and I got the crash error again, even though I didn't download or move anything at all. I tried the mod conflict detector and its telling me that xml4.2 is broken, but I heard that mod hasn't been updated for many many years.
All this happened after I updated to Adventure Awaits.... I noticed here that a lot of people can't play either and crashing despite updating our scripts and most mods.
Also I tried to make a new save, and my mods and items seem to be fine so my save might've been corrupted .... I'm trying to just recover them as much as I could.
