Sims will not load into gameplay.

After I had created my sim and chose the residents world the game immediately exits out of the residents and put me in the resident's world again. It also removed the household.

So, the first thing I thought was restarting the EA app and it still didn't work. When I tried saving the game and heading to main menu and went to where you saved your household, I've clicked a random household and when it loaded it put me back at where the different resident's homes were. This has been happening for a few days now.
