Sims won’t do commands

My sims won’t do anything I tell them to ! Or they will start doing it then stop for example they’ll get food out the fridge then put it on the side and not eat it or start the homework then stop. I’ve repaired my game and this hasn’t seemed to work ! I had this issue with my old save but thought it might be because I was on the 10th generation and there was a lot of sims but I started a new save and it was working for about a week now I’m having the same problems
