I dont know if this has happened to anyone else but when the update that was supposed to give custom skintones happened, I still have my cc skintones and I have no sliders or anything for makeup. It is exactly like it was before and I do not know what to do. I have tried repairing my game on origin which did not work. Everyone I know it just worked for and they did not have to delete cc or anything.
@alyssajadesim What version of Sims 4 are you running? Load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look along the bottom of the screen, or in the lower right corner. Please list the entire version number, i.e. 1.xx.xx.xxxx.

@alyssajadesim Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether the new skin tones are available.
If the new options are there, you can start adding your custom content and see what happens. If you have a lot of it, the 50/50 method can make the process much faster:

If you don't see the new skin tones, please clear Origin's cache and then repair the game again.

i have the same problem but it won’t let me remove the sims 4 folder it says it’s open in another program but i don’t have anything open
@0k2tofz7kzm3 The "other program" may be OneDrive trying to sync your data. If restarting your computer doesn't help, try pausing syncing and cancelling the current sync:
