skintone update not working

@alyssajadesim Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether the new skin tones are available.
If the new options are there, you can start adding your custom content and see what happens. If you have a lot of it, the 50/50 method can make the process much faster:

If you don't see the new skin tones, please clear Origin's cache and then repair the game again.

i have the same problem but it won’t let me remove the sims 4 folder it says it’s open in another program but i don’t have anything open
@0k2tofz7kzm3 The "other program" may be OneDrive trying to sync your data. If restarting your computer doesn't help, try pausing syncing and cancelling the current sync:
