Stuck in tense mood

I have recently purchased the for Rent pack and I entered the home decorator career. I selected a gig and the next day it wouldn't allow me to go to the job so I had to cancel the job and selected a new one. The next day it allowed me to go to the job I selected and chat with the client and send them away and do all the steps. I then invited the client back and did the big revel etc. when it came time to ask the final verdict it would not ever come up and then the time for the "event" ended. This resulted in "bad job performance" and gave my sim a tense mood  factor. I have continued to play with this character for a few more days and I can not get rid of the tense mood no matter what I have tired. I have never had this issue until the for rent pack.
