The Barbarian's Bed

I am doing the Parents abducted by Aliens Scenario. There is The Barbarian's Bed in my Inventory and I cant remove it. I dont know how it got there. I have repaired my game and when I went back it was gone. then it appears again. I dont use mods or CC. Does anyone else have this problem?  How do I get rid of it?

    @mysticdiva2 If it's in the Sims inventory, then move everything but the bed either to the world or another Sims inventory.

    Backup your save, then make sure the Sim with the bed is selected and use the cheat: inventory.purge

    That should get rid of the bed.

    This will empty out your entire inventory so make sure you have nothing else in there.
