The Lost Legacy event is not loading in my game

i did not have any LE/LC files which is odd as well. 

I did, however, do the clean folder apporach as you sugessted, (something i should have known to try and did't, so thank you for the reminder) and that worked. Thank you!

Hi again, I don't know if it's fixed for you, but my game is fixed now, everything is working again, hope it's same for you :)

The same is also happening for me. I updated my game last night after being offline since Nov 25. I played a vanilla game with mods disabled and the UI for the event never showed up. I played for a while and closed the game. I started up my game today, same thing. I repaired the game and did a clean install and it’s still not popping up. No LEs are present. First time I’ve ever had an issue with an event  

EisQueenTia​ Instead of disabling mods, please do this:

1. Rename the Mods folder and/or drag it to your desktop
2. Delete the localthumbcache file

Then try again. 

1. I updated my game two nights ago since I have been playing offline since Nov 2025.
2. Since I did a clean install, the entire sims 4 folder was renamed and therefore had a new mods folder.
3. The pics I provided were from the clean install.
4. I don’t have space on my laptop for my mods folder. I play my game from an external and do not have enough space on it either to save duplicate files. (I have 250gb of cc, mods and backups).

I’m going to delete the game and start over. I have 200gb of space for the important stuff so I can save my saves and tray. Thanks for the suggestion though!

EisQueenTia​ Renaming the Mods folder won't duplicate the folder - it allows the game to make a tiny empty one. You really do need to test mod-free to find out if a mod is your issue. It's VERY possible it is, given the quantity you have. It's simply not possible to determine if a mod is your issue otherwise. You don't need to start over to do this. I also recommend have a new (and therefore small) save for Reward Events.
