  • @ElzoBe So, I haven't found any better suggestions yet but could you try a factory reset ?

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

To be sure you also have them in the game like in the build menu or Sims portraits ?

@crinrict No, it's specifically affecting the pictures I showed which include all uploads on The Gallery. My Library isn't affected but everything that I have uplaoded to The Gallery has this issue on The Gallery specifically. All Builds on The Gallery are slightly worse quality than they were before, it is a lot worse for Households and Rooms. Everything else in-game is normal.

@ElzoBe OK. Thanks for the info. Going to ask around with other helpers cause I'm convinced I've seen this before.

    Will get back to you.

@crinrict So I did the reset yesterday and I checked straight after and it wasn't fixed. I've loaded up the game today and it is completely back to normal, I didn't do anything different in between. Weird but it's fixed! Thank you for all your help.
  • Thank you so much! this helped me with my problem. some of the thumbnails on my clothes were red/white and had question marks on it. after doing this, i repaired my game and it went back to normal!
