The sims are staring at my sims outside
Hi, my sims are all celebrities, so I set to Private Dwelling on my home lot. Not many times but I have a few sims are staring at my sims outside of my house.
Not sure it's a bug or not, because it has been only a couple of months since I'm back to The Sims 4. A couple years ago, nobody was interested in my celebrity sims with this lot trait. Maybe is it changed? I don't think it's mod issue. Only a few mods I'm using are only simple bug fix mods. I don't use even MCCC. That female sim is not stuck. She just walked to the fence just now and put up my sim on her thought bubble.
@aodoherty I would assume that the private lot trait would only keep the sims off the lot, but sims staring at a celebrity sim from the street or sidewalk would be normal, to my memory of playing sims with any celebrity status, especially as it raises.If you don't have a locked gate having the private dwelling trait still doesn't stop the driven and sometimes odd/obsessed paparazzi and 'normal' sims from entering the property, if memory serves. Not 100% of the time, though (thus the caveat "all but the most determined visitors" in the description of the lot trait). I used to notice years ago, before Get Famous, that I would see sims standing on the sidewalk staring at and in 'awe of' the home when I played a well-off family on 'The Old Salt House' lot in San Myshuno.
I would guess that if your famous sim is standing in the front yard painting, having another sim that is standing on the sidewalk gawking at them is about as private as they can hope for. 😉
