So no way to fully deinstall betterbuild/buy until it's updated? I've tried the directions TwistedMexi gave on his site and what was listed above, still having this issue.
ETA: After more farting around with my mod folder, I think deleting Resource.cfg and making the game regenerate it did the trick.
JustMeAlb For removing all effects of BBB after removing the file, run a Game Repair.
Thank you, but I just wanna make sure 😂 so delete Sims folder completely, run a game repair, then re-add TOOL and BBB? And delete resource.cfg?
I'm currently playing without Better Build/Buy until it's updated for this latest batch-of-bugs (update), can't recall but it seems TOOL is similarly broken. During my last troubleshooting I moved the mods folder out of the Sims folder, tried the game and it looked OK, then when moving the mods folder back I excluded resource.cfg and the game appears to be OK with almost all the mods back in (except BBB)
JustMeAlb TOOL has not been reported broken, including by the people who do support for TwistedMexi. It's not cleared as compatible yet either, though.
Angiedekock You wait for there to be a new version of BBB. (TOOL is not reported broken).
Yeah TOOL works I just haven’t ever used it without BBB so it takes some getting used to. I reckon we’ll only get an update once the new expansion pack is officially released
