Unable to join Paranormal Investigator

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.46
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansion Packs: all Game packs: missing Spa Day Stuff packs: missing Backyard, Luxury Party, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio, Moschino, Movie Hangout, Laundry Day, My First Pet. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The Paranormal Career does not populate once Gundry offers the license, and it also doesn't appear if I purchase the license with Points. I have saved and exited game, fully closed it out and restarted and the career is not available for me to join.

What happens when the bug occurs? I am unable to become an investigator of the paranormal.
What do you expect to see? Scared Sims in their homes while I fight the ghosts.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    Is it possibly to repair your game with PS4?

    I tried to reproduce this issue (I disabled all packs who you don’t have, I purchased the license with satisfaction points and I asket Guidry both worked for me to join the career(Freelancer)) Can you try to start a new game, with a new sim and via cheat sims.give_satisfaction_points 3000 and buy there a license with a new sim. Can this sim join the paranormal career?

    The career is at the moment broken but if you clean all cursed object it work to 80% for me in a vanilla game. Before your join the gig save always!

    The career is unfortunatley broken anyway, so you wouldn't be able to use it even if you could join. I wish they'd fix it!!

    I have. I tried purchasing the license with satisfaction points and through Guidry, but it doesn't show up on my career list as an option.

    @Nicebeardman Just to be sure: If I remember correctly the Paranormal Inv. never shows up in the normal career list. You have to join the freelancer career and then can select it in a second step. This should work - if not then I have no explanation ...

    Yeah, you have to choose the Freelancer career and when you pick a trade, you pick "Bureau of Spooky Investigation."  :D

    @Nicebeardman Hello!  As others have said, once you have the medium skill and the license, you will find the Paranormal Investigator career by selecting Freelancer and then selecting the Federal Bureau of Spooky Investigation. Like so...

    Hey ya'll! I started a new file and found the career after joining freelance. Went back to that first file and I'm not really sure what went on there, but thank you for all the responses 🙂
