Even with the latest patch to fix My Wedding Stories, the main problem I'm having is that when I go to use the stalls to buy wedding flowers, or even buy or taste cakes I am met with an issue. The issue being that the only options that show up are Haggle/Buy Produce.
I have removed my mods, repaired the game, deleted the localthumbcache , the works and it still seems to be a hit or miss situation. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it will not. I have made a new game to try it on without the mods, after the game repair and the like only to be met with being unable to do any of the options I should. So, I try again after a restart, it works. Save, close, go back in and it's not working again. Do the same things, this time I'm brave and I put my mods back in. It works! But then I exit, go back into the game the next day and alas it's not working again.
So we repeat the process only for it to be once again, hit or miss. Sometimes it will work, other times it won't. I don't know what's going on or how to fix this, I've done every single trouble shooting thing I should do or that I know to do and it's still something that just won't work or it will work at random. There's no obvious trigger to it. I'm at a complete loss. Though I think I've said that, it pretty much remains true.
I have renamed my folder and allowed the game to generate a new one. I moved my saves back sans any mods that may have found their way into the save folder with success.
However, with me putting my mods back one by one it's iffy. I could put in just my Create a Sim mods which is clothes and it'll stop working, take it out and put it back and it'll work again. No script mods whatsoever used yet, going to try those in a moment but it doesn't seem to matter what kind of mod it is, it'll not work, then work, then not work again. It's pretty much just a flip o fa coin for me.
I put MCCC in, didn't work. Took it out, worked. Put it back in and it works, same version mind you. This is where my confusion comes in. Load up the game again, nothing touched, no mods added and once again it just doesn't work.
I take out all the mods one more time, delete the local thumb cache, and it's still not working any longer.
I've done everything I can think of that's possible, and that includes going through and putting mod folders in back one by one but it truly doesn't seem to matter what kind of mod it is, I can take it out and put it back and take it out again and it's still very much random chance for me.
