Update Frustration

I love the Sims but with every single update I have to fix my mods. For us who have A LOT of mods it can take hours. It makes me take a break from the game because i get so frustrated lol. I don’t know if there is an easier way to fix this issue but I feel like the Sims 4 should do something about this. None of my build mode items are there but are still all in my mods folder. Also, the build mode menu is all screwed up! From what I have read and seen almost everyone has this issue. It is very unfortunate.

    A lot of the cc creators and modders have updated their mods. I would look on Patreon, etc. for their updates. My main issue is that my build and buy items are not showing up whatsoever. Are yours showing up in game?

    You must update your mods after an update. A lot of the modders already fixed them but it's up to you to update them. It's just the name of the game. Also check your settings to see if the script & cc mods were disabled after the update.

      The main issue is that my build mode cc is not showing up. I repaired the game twice, made sure my mods are enabled, and updated my mods. Still nothing.

        Most often caused by your antivirus/firewall needing the user folder set as an exemption.

    I just repaired the game once. I will try again. Hopefully it will work! I can deal with the messed up menu but I need my mods. I can't enjoy building with base game!

    i had to repair the game two times before it finally worked with mods. and even with mods i had to delete my betterbuild and ui extension mod, before the build mode menu was finally fixed! everytime i have to fix my mods with every single update. its so tiring
